This track takes me back to my childhood. Big up to the MC's Tommy, Tim and the producer Presto.

Soul music
This incredible song is performed by Luther Ingram. We all know he's wrong, but I'm glad he don't wanna be right. Great voice, great music and I believe his words.

Affinity Chair
The chance that the 'Affinity Chair' from the young designer Ben Alun-Jones, will win prizes for comfort is really small, but it pulls off an impressive Eye Catch act.

How to Scratch on the iPad
Scratching used to be a technique used to produce sounds by moving a vinyl record back and forth on a turntable while optionally manipulating the crossfader on a DJ mixer. Now it’s an iPad App.

Asian Hip Hop (MC'S)
First of all hip hop isn’t a thing about race. But a musical expression and artistic culture that is participated by all kinds of people. Unfortunately there are still a lot of preconceptions about the music. That it is a black thing or only for people who glorify gangster lifestyle and that it is the most woman unfriendly music.
A lot has changed in the years. Hip-hop as a genre blew up and took mainstream in the music industry. To bad in the perspective of most people it is still a black thing. With the advent of the Internet age, Asian rappers were able to effectively self-promote, which was crucial for Asian artists who are generally overlooked by record labels.
I would like to show some good Asian rappers, that you never hear on the radio or see on the television. For now only the MC/rapper next time the producers. Enjoy.

Nujabes
As a producer I was always looking for old obscure records for sampling. When I talked with another producer about sampling, he told me that I should look for Japanese Soul and Jazz. He also recommend me about one of the best Japanese hiphop producer and DJ who recorded under the name Nujabes (new-jah-bes). Nujabes was known around the world for his jazz-infused hip hop beats with a melancholy, nostalgic undertone.
On February 26, 2010, Nujabes was involved in a traffic accident upon exiting the Shuto Expressway late at night. He died at a hospital after failed efforts to revive him. He was 36 years old. I really want to share his music. May his soul rest in peace and let heaven listen to his music now.
